Although we love celebrating birthdays here at Froggle Parties, we do also provide children’s entertainers for loads of other events. One of these is entertaining at weddings! Family weddings are a great time to celebrate with those nearest and dearest to you, but during planning, many couples often find themselves accidentally forgetting about the needs of their younger guests.
If choosing to have children attend your wedding ceremony and reception, then you may want to consider how you can make the celebrations enjoyable for them. One way in which you can do so is by providing some brilliant children’s entertainment. An entertainer and a designated area for children to play at your wedding means that little guests don’t get bored and that they will always remember your wedding as a fun and special occasion.

Along with hiring one of our entertainers to help keep children happy during your wedding reception, here are some great ways to keep them amused during the day:
• Ceremony I Spy– A wedding ceremony can be boring for little ones, so keep them occupied by creating ‘Ceremony I Spy’. Create a list of items that are in your wedding venue for children to spot during the nuptials. This will keep them quiet and entertained whilst you’re busy saying ‘I Do!’
• Little Photographers– Why not ask the children at your wedding to help with your wedding photos. A disposable camera and a badge or lanyard saying ‘press’ will your children all they need to get mingling and taking some great (or not so great!) wedding snaps.
• Fun Food– Cater for the tastes of children by providing child-friendly food options. You may even want to provide some DIY deserts, like an ice cream machine where children can choose their own sprinkles and sweet toppings.
• Provide kids with a goody bag on the table during the reception – This is a great way to keep them entertained and out of your hair and keeps the really little ones from making a noise during the speeches.
